Hey Young Scientists,
Fall Meeting Registration until Friday 31.08
This is your reminder that our 6th Fall Meeting will be new and exciting this year and we have taken your feedback to heart! This year we are meeting in October from Wed 21 to Fri 23, to get everybody a break after the IMSC that’s coming up. But we have used this time for a new location at the Windham Garden in Kassel, whose costs are largely covered by the generous DGMS travel grants. Follow this link to register on our website for all details and check back regularly to see the announcements of our invited speakers shortly. We hope to see many of you there and are hoping for a fantastic program once again. Also, if you like what we do, consider running for the Young Scientist board, as we will have 2 free positions coming up!
YIMS IMSC events feat. DGMS Young Scientists
Since many of you are also going to IMSC, we have organized several events, together with youngNVMS and the Club Jeune de SFSM. If you have not received the YIMS newsletters yet or if you want more infos, check out the new IMSC event page. You can also participate at IMSC, as we still have spots for junior session chairs, for the award committee and also for giving a 90 second flash talk. If this sounds like you, sign up here BEFORE Tuesday 04.08, so we can arrange everything. It’s a great opportunity to expand your network, present your science and get in first with your questions, so you don’t want to miss this!

- Flash Talk Session, Sun 3:00–4:15 p.m.
- Young Scientist Session, Mon 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m
- Networking Workshop Mon 5:45–7:30 p.m.
- Young Scientist After-Hours Tue starting at 8:00 p.m. at Barabaar Botteaux
- Young Scientist Awards Ceremony Thu 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. for flash talks, presentations, and posters
