Members of the DGMS, whose doctorate dates back less than five years and who do not yet lead their own research group, can become members of the Young Scientists interest group. Membership in the interest group ends thereafter or if no payment has been received for membership in the DGMS. When registering for the DGMS, membership of the Young Scientists interest group can be selected.
