New Location and Dates this Year!
Hey Young Scientists,
as many of you may already know, this years meeting will take place at the Wyndham Garden in Kassel, which is conveniently accessible by train and public transport.
Due to the close timing of the IMSC relative to our regular September schedule, we decided to postpone our Fall meeting by one month. The conference will now be held from the 21-23rd of October (Wed-Fri). We hope this adjustments gives you additional time to generate new data or try for a talk, if you didn’t get the chance at IMSC.
Registration deadline is the 31.08.2026.
General informations
The conference fee is expected to be approximately 370–380 €, which includes accommodation and meals. Payment will be made directly at the hotel.
As in previous years, the DGMS will offer travel grants of up to 350 € until the 21st of September. Please note that the number of grants is limited to a maximum of four per research group. Feel free to check out our guide on how to apply for the DGMS travel grants here.
Due to issues encountered in previous years, we have introduced updated policies regarding cancellations and no-shows after registration. These deadlines are aligned with our contractual obligations with the venue. Please refer to the terms and conditions for full details.
In cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to find a suitable solution. However, we cannot guarantee exceptions. We strongly encourage you to contact us as early as possible if such a situation arises.
