European Young Scientist Webinar

A little over a week ago, we wrapped up our first — and hopefully the first of many! — online webinar in collaboration with Club Jeune de la Société Française de Spectrométrie de Masse (CJSM) and  youngNVMS. In 12 insightful presentations, we had the chance to dive into the exciting work of like-minded young scientists from beyond Germany. We learned about new techniques, made valuable connections, and even tackled some of the questions that couldn’t be answered due to time constraints.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, and a special shout-out to Frederik Menn, Wiebke Schultze, Wiebke Günther and David Pawlowski, for their outstanding presentations, representing us as DGMS Young Scientists on the international stage.

We’re eager to hear your feedback so we can make the next webinar even better — stay tuned, and let’s keep growing together!

While we’re already gearing up for exciting international events in collaboration with Club Jeune de la Société Française de Spectrométrie de Masse (CJSM) and youngNVMS at IMSC 2026, we don’t want you to miss what’s just around the corner — our upcoming Fall Meeting!

Before you (hopefully) head off for a well-earned summer break, make sure to register by July 31.

And here’s some good news: if funding was holding you back, worry no more. Travel grants are confirmed again this year, and they’re expected to cover most of the costs. So no more excuses — we’d love to see you there!

We are searching for a new look — and YOU could design it!

As we step onto the international stage as young scientists, it’s time for a fresh new look! 🌍✨ We’re launching a logo redesign to better represent us, and we want YOU to be part of it!

We know you have incredible ideas and creative talent — so why not showcase it? Whether you’re a design pro or just full of ideas, this is your chance to contribute. Even if you don’t think you have the creativity to design, stay tuned—we want to make this decision together, and your opinion will be needed along the way!
