What’s happenin’?
This year’s christmas special, we are shaking things up again! For the entire month of December, you will get the chance to compete in our very first meme contest. So get out your drawing boards and rewatch lord of the rings, because we expect sarcastic, funny, relatable and stupid memes from you. And of course, there is something to win too: You will not only earn a permanent spot on our website with your meme, but you will also get one of the rare Young Scientist mugs. Are you interested? Find all rules put together below as well as a submission form, where you can upload your high quality memes.
Not that much of a memelord? You can still participate! The top 8 memes will be entered in a community voting contest starting in January. So keep looking out for the start of the meme wars, because you vote could change everything.
Da Rules
- Everyone can participate (you don’t need to be a phd student to create memes about phd life, right?)
- You can only upload two memes (we also have dayjobs people)
- Your memes should reflect something from the phd life or working in science in general (duh)
- You have to attend the DGMS in Leipzig to claim you prize
- You give us permission to put your meme and name on the website
