We will start this year again with a Webinar! The DGMS annual conference is right around the corner and will introduce a couple of new things (click on the banner above to see all of the new things!). Because new formats are always scary, we wanted to have an opportunity to test it out in a relaxed setting. And afterwards there is still a week left for final tweaks, before the poster submission deadline. So here it is! The webinar will be around 3 hours with time for 16 people to present their poster, answer questions and recieve feedback. There will also be 2 short breaks inbetween, so everyone can grab a coffee.
- When? Friday 30th of January
- How long? 3 hours, from 1 to 4 pm
- Where? Online. The link will be sent per email after registration.
- What format? Every presenter will get 10 minutes to present, answer questions and recieve feedback
What the heck is an E-Poster?
In an effort to have less space issues and a fair setting for all poster presenters, the DGMS team has decided to go for E-Posters instead of the regular paper ones. The key changes are the availability of the posters before the actual conference, 15 dedicated poster sessions and having a flash poster presentation time slot.
- Poster: A0 format, pdf or pptx file, no animations
- Flash talk: 3 min
- Questions: 3 min
- Feedback: 3 min
