First Step: Are you a DGMS member already?
A DGMS membership is very cheap for students at about 20-30€ per year and only requires proof of student status (PhDs also count!). This will allow you to get travel grants for both the annual DGMS as well as the Young Scientist Fall Meeting, which are quite generous and pay for the conference fee and some of the travel.
For registering you will need:
- A home or workplace adress
- Work or private email adress
- A way to pay, either via debit mandate or bank transfer (debit mandate is cheaper by 10€)
- For student membership (see image below) proof of student status (from university or official letter of professor/supervisor vouching for PhD status)
- Make sure to check the “Young Scientist” Checkbox, so you will be an official Young Scientist Member! (see image below)

If you need help registering, feel free to send us an email: info@youngscientists.dgms.eu
